# How do I reconcile a carrier statement?

Upload or sync the statement, then open Commissions → Reconciliation. Every line is matched to a policy and producer, and anything that does not match lands in an exceptions queue you can resolve line by line.

## The reconciliation loop

1. Ingest the statement (automatic connection or manual upload).
2. Auto-match lines by policy number, then by member name and effective date.
3. Work the exceptions queue: unmatched, unexpected amount, or unknown producer.
4. Approve the period and lock it so downstream payouts use fixed numbers.

## Statement formats

CSV, XLSX, and PDF statements are all supported; PDF statements are parsed and normalized on ingestion.

### What happens to unresolved lines?

They stay in the exceptions queue and roll into the next period until resolved, so nothing is silently dropped.
