Automate it or you will miss one during AEP. # SOA Compliance: 48-Hour Rule Cheat Sheet ## The Rule A signed Scope of Appointment must be collected at least **48 hours** before any scheduled Medicare Advantage or Prescription Drug Plan sales appointment. ## Exceptions - Walk-ins - Beneficiary-initiated inbound calls - Educational events (no SOA needed) - Same-product renewals with existing clients ## Per Product Line MA, PDP, and MedSupp are separate scopes.
