# How to Connect Claude to unLocked CRM in Minutes

## TL;DR

Connect Claude to unLocked CRM from Settings, choose per-record-type permissions, authorize the connection, and start asking questions or running quotes in plain English. Available on Pro and Max.

Connecting Claude to unLocked CRM takes a few minutes and no developer.

## Step 1: Open your AI connections

In unLocked, go to **Settings → AI Connections** and choose Claude. (If you are on Core, upgrade to Pro or Max first — the connection is included on both.)

## Step 2: Choose your permissions

For each record type — leads, clients, policies, commissions, tasks, appointments, activities, and more — pick read-only or read-and-add. Start conservative; you can widen access later.

## Step 3: Authorize and connect

Complete the authorization prompt. Claude is now connected to your live book of business.

## Step 4: Ask your first question

Try: "Show me every lead from Facebook that has not been contacted." Then try an action: "Add a follow-up task for the first three tomorrow at 9am."

## Step 5: Run your first quote

"Quote a 45-year-old non-tobacco male in Texas for $500k of 20-year term and save it to his record." The quote runs against your connected carriers and lands on the client's record in unLocked.
