# Claude For Insurance Agencies: A Client Service Workflow

## TL;DR

Claude connected to unLocked CRM can support an insurance agency's client service routine by reviewing unread messages and contact context, drafting a fact-grounded response, sending an approved reply, updating notes, and scheduling follow-up. It does not replace licensed advice, carrier confirmation, or agency consent procedures.

**Claude becomes useful for insurance client service when it can work from the relationship you already have with the client.** The question is not simply “Can AI write a polite reply?” It is “Can we resolve the right issue, with current facts, and leave the next person a clear record?”

Connected to unLocked CRM, Claude can review permitted contact information and perform supported communication and record actions. This routine keeps the agent in charge of the answer while reducing the manual steps around it.

## Start With The Unanswered Question

Ask Claude to review daily priorities and identify clients waiting for a reply. Select a specific contact before requesting a deeper review.

For example: “Show the unanswered client messages in my priorities. For the client I select, retrieve the whole contact profile and summarize the unresolved question. Do not send or change anything.”

This separates discovery from action. You can decide which issue needs a same-day response and which needs carrier information first without authorizing a batch of messages.

## Read The Relationship Context

The whole contact profile includes details, tags, notes, memories, messages, calls, quotes, and documents. Use that context to understand what the client has already been told and what your team has already done.

Call information includes recordings with playback links, dispositions, and voicemails. Do not assume a playback link means the assistant has a verified transcript. Review available information and the recording when necessary before treating a summary as accurate.

Ask Claude to distinguish confirmed facts from questions: “What information on this record supports a response? What is missing or needs verification?”

## Draft A Response Without Inventing A Resolution

A service message can acknowledge the issue and explain the next step without making an unsupported coverage or claim promise.

Try: “Draft a reply using only the verified information we have. If carrier confirmation is still needed, say that clearly. Do not state that a change is approved or completed.”

Review the wording yourself. If the answer depends on policy terms, eligibility, carrier processing, or legal requirements, check the relevant source through your normal process. AI fluency is not evidence that a statement is correct.

## Send The Approved Reply In The Right Thread

Once the recipient and wording are correct, ask Claude to reply in the existing thread. The catalog supports sending texts and emails, thread replies, and scheduled messages.

An existing thread is useful because the conversation stays together. If a new message is needed, identify the channel and recipient explicitly. Check consent and avoid unnecessary sensitive detail before authorizing outreach.

If you schedule a response, confirm its time and status. The assistant can edit or cancel a scheduled message if new information changes the plan.

## Record The Service Outcome

Log an activity and add or edit the relevant note or memory. Keep the note factual: the question, the verified answer, any remaining dependency, and the agreed follow-up.

Ask: “Record that we replied and are waiting for carrier confirmation. Do not mark the issue resolved. Show the saved note and the follow-up message details.”

That final read-back matters. It confirms the work was recorded in the CRM, rather than merely described in the chat.

## Keep One Shared Operating Standard

Claude, ChatGPT, and Grok use the same supported action catalog. This client service example is a workflow choice, not a claim that Claude has special access unavailable to the other tools.

These connected workflows are available on unLocked CRM Pro and Max, subject to the permissions you approve. Core does not include these external AI connections. Messaging and calling usage is billed separately from the seat subscription; the AI tool may have its own subscription requirements. unLocked remains the system of record, and unLocked never uses customer data to train AI models.
