Most connected AI tools let an agent ask about the book of business in plain English. Claude Code is different: it writes and runs code. That makes it the right tool when an agency wants something repeatable, such as a morning report, a nightly sync, or a custom dashboard. **Claude Code now works with unLocked CRM on Pro and Max.** ## What Claude Code Can Build - **Custom automations:** create tasks, tag contacts, or schedule reviewed messages when a condition is met. - **Agency reports:** pipeline, follow-up, and quote-activity summaries pulled from live records. - **Data syncs:** keep a lead vendor, spreadsheet, or website form aligned with unLocked contacts. - **Quote tooling:** run live quotes, save them to a contact, and retrieve branded PDF links for review. ## How It Connects Claude Code uses a scoped API key you create in unLocked, or the hosted AI connection server at mcp.unlockedcrm.ai. Keys are revocable at any time. Keep the key in an environment variable, never pasted into a prompt. ## What Stays The Same Claude Code works from the same supported actions as every other connected tool. It does not get a separate copy of your data, and unLocked remains the system of record. Activity history is append-only, and customer data is never used to train AI. ## October 2026 API Update The unLocked API powers every connected AI tool.
